She blinks and gives him a small playful push. "You know what I mean." She giggles out, even if they are friends for now. He already has the highest chance of winning her love and affection to go beyond friendship out of all her suitors.
This date, even if it is a simple date, it will be fun as she found her fondness for him. "I would love that too."
She feels her face heating up and her heart racing as she takes a look at the sight of his perfect face. How... How could such a beautiful man be interested in her? She found herself getting lost in his beauty.
She was definitely comfortable with him hugging her back. Her heartbeat ringing in her ears. She found herself entertaining the idea to bring him home after their date. "You have already bought me so many things... And help me with my bills... But just a simple latte will be enough for me."
"Latte it is." He just wants an easy night and keeps it a simple date, where it just a cup of coffee and chatting. Slowly, he lets her go, letting his arms fall at his side.
He smiles easily and cheerfully. He's charming even with the blindfold over his eyes. He has a feeling she has his eyes on him, his heartbeats steadily, and he could see her in his mind that she's a beauty herself, and he would like to entertain whatever fantasy she has of him once he knew of them.
But coffee first. "Your voice is easy and nice to listen to." He has good hearing, so he could follow her steps and the sound of her voice, walking with unhurried pace right behind her until they arrived at the coffee shop and he could smell the aromatic coffee in the air once inside the shop.
"Oh, for me, I'll have the mocha with the chocolate." He said, as he blindly goes inside and he probably needs some help figuring out where's the line where to take their order at the register. Behind the counter, the baristas can be seen making coffee.
An easy night. Yes, that would be perfect for now as this was just a simple date to start getting to know one another.
Her cheeks never lost their soft blush as he continues to lay the charm on her, even unintentional charm. This beautiful man... She was still lost in his beauty as they walk. Her fantasy? She doesn't know one yet but one will be built and soon.
But before any fantasy, she will have to know the answer to one question. Why her? Why did he pick her to shower such gifts and affections on?
Her heart beat increases and her blush deepens at his compliment about her voice. "Th-Thank you. Your voice is comforting." She keeps her footsteps slow, often looking back behind her to make sure that he was still following her. A part of her, wanting to reach behind and take his hand to help guide him but... He seems to be doing fine on his own.
"A mocha with the chocolate? That sounds good, I might steal a sip of yours." She tries to flirt a little with him as she opens the door for the both of them. She can see the multiple lines and even though he seemed to be doing just fine on his own, she reaches over to take his hand to hold while they wait in line.
A good coffee will not warm his cold body up and can only slake his thirst for a while. "I like different types." He said.
He's not sure how long he can keep up his appearance as a charming gentleman. While he has no intent to completely deceive her, but part of the fun is playing with his prey. The blindfold hides his reddish-brown eyes, but he has some confidence he can keep his hungry, monstrous side at bay as she might be easy to follow his desires and manipulate her by showering her with expensive gifts, affections, and keeping her company.
He follows her, sensing her invitation. His shadow on the wall is tall and dark like a looming darkness. A wisp of it is reaching for her ankles and wrists to keep his prey close to him within his distance so she wouldn't run. With his mind, he manipulates tendril of shadows gently runs down her arm and shoulders, some tugs at her hair but when she looks back the tendrils retreats back to his shadow and she'll see nothing, but she will see him behind her just holding her hand.
Her attempts flirting is cute, but it wasn't necessary for him. He waits for her to fall a little deeper and have fun. After all, he won't be satisfied if the evening ended too quick and fast. A little movie or show if she wanted to see would be warming to his heart.
He paid the tab as he promised once they reach the clerk and paid for her cakes if she wanted to go with it. He drank his coffee. The rather coffee passed his fangs kept hidden at bay, the taste is kind pale and bland. Hiding his disappointment at the flavor and taste, he continues to smile in grace, "Tea is good too. Coffee is usually best with milk and sugar but mix in with some liquor and it would taste amazing."
"What would you like to go see? A movie? A show? Surely your town has something special for a tour to see and experience. I'm not from around here, you see. I travel far and to many places." Which is obvious as to how he is being dressed.
She giggles at his answer. "Then I guess I will have see all the types and figure out which is your favorite." He was fun, almost too much fun.
But, she doesn't know the danger she was in being around him. Bow he truly sees her as. A small shiver runs down her spine as the trindrils touched her, her free hand idly moving to smooth her hair as she looks back at him. That... That was odd. Perhaps it was just her imagination or her mind playing tricks from stress.
By the time they ordered and he paid the tab, she protested a little finding herself blushing quite a bit as they head to the seats. It was hard to focus on anything but the beautiful man before her and just how elegant and graceful he was being.
"I could have paid... you already bought me so many things." But then he mentions tea and she perks up quite a but. "Creating teas is a hobby of mine. Perhaps next time we can try and couple of mine." If he was still in the village.
At his question, she goes to ponder for a moment. "Our biggest draw is the Harvest festival. Where we celebrate the harvest for the year so it becomes like a giant farmers market. It is also one of the main times where a man woos the one they have their eye on by asking her to dance with him at the very end of the festival. We also have a cute little movie theater which we never know what is playing during the week."
A small brief thought as she realizes that she might have bored him a little. "We can head there after our coffee to see what they are playing if you like. But I would love to hear about your travels."
"I didn't mind paying. You can have much as you like as much as you want. It's on me." Money is never an issue for him. His own vault is practically limitless from living for centuries, procuring art and fine living. His own manor, one of many properties he purchased in this country, is a thousand of miles away as he travels out of boredom.
His smiles is cheerful one, elegant lips curled, easy and help another feel relax. It's only tempting that he craves the heat of her blood, and he wonders what is like to bite her and drink to ease his cravings, but there's no rushing as there's no thrill if there's no flavor and that would be a waste.
For now, he enjoys the tension as he appears as calm as the night. "How very rural. I find your town very enchanting. I could imagine what the farms look like." His prey is a classic country girl, so he could imagine how sweet she'll be if he gains her trusts. "The movie theatre sounds fine. Let's head over there and see what they have." As he intends to make this a normal date tonight.
He isn't bored at all as he follows her perfectly at her, steps graceful, his shadow decided to behave and looks exact in his posture and movements. "I travel to many different places. I can tell you many stories. To the far plains of Asia and their mountains even to the deserts of the middle East. Forgotten libraries lost and hidden with secret knowledge known by a few." By few, he meant other vampires and their clans.
He continues to follow her until the movie theater is in sight. "What were they showing tonight?"
"It wouldn't feel right if I just let you pay for everything." She suspects that money was no issue judging by the gifts he keeps on giving her. "I will get it next time."
Just in case this date didn't end in a total disaster. It was hard to imagine with how calm he is as well as the elegance he gives off.
She was still unaware of his darker intentions, the unease and tensions was nearly unbearable. "Well the farms here look like any other type of farms one might see. We may be rural but you will never see a village quite as close as ours. We all have each other's backs here."
The conversation was a nice distraction from the feeling of unease she can't seem to shake off. "Oh? I would love to hear about them one day." The mentioning of wanting to go to the movies makes her smile.
"Alright but I will get the tickets. It's only the first date afterall!" She winks at him before taking his hand to go to the movies.
There was only a small selection and one that just makes her tilt her head. "It looks like there are some weird looking ones. One is The Shape of Water, Twilight and Lady Hawk. Nothing really new it seems."
